TANINTHARYI DIVISION – According to an accountable person of Myeik district People Defense Force (PDF) battalion 1, they (Myeik district battalion 1) attacked the junta council’s Pala town police station and a military camp on To hill, by dropping bombs using drones, in Palaw township, Tanintharyi division.
At around 3:45 p.m. on April 28, the comrades from Myeik district Battalion 1 dropped two bombs using drones over Pala town police station where a unit of 60 junta council servants (the combination of the junta council soldiers and police) were stationed. Similarly, at around 4:30 p.m. on the same day, they also dropped one bomb using a drone over the junta council’s military camp on To Hill, where a unit of 20 junta council troops was stationed.
The responsible person of Myeik district battalion 1 mentioned that “the number of the junta council troops in the junta council’s military camps are not stable. When we attacked them, they (the junta council troops) recklessly fired the heavy weapons back. It was known that the ambulances entered into the Pala police station. The number of junta council casualties is still under investigation.”
He continued that among the stated attacks, during the attack, there were four junta council troops in the heavy weapon field, which was chosen as the target. However, the detailed number of the junta council casualties is not yet known.
Moreover, they (Myeik District Battalion 1) managed to attack the targeted area with 100% effectiveness and they are currently trying to know the detailed number of the junta council casualties.
The revolutionary forces are currently targeting and attacking the junta council pillars in Tanintharyi division. On April 26, Dawei Guerrilla Revolutionary Force (DGRF) and its alliance forces attacked the junta council checkpoint, which extorted money from the civilians on Ye-Dawei road section. Due to the attack, one sub-inspector was said to have been killed.
