TANINTHARYI DIVISION – According to the local news sources, the fascist junta council troops murdered six locals and set 27 houses on fire in Letku village tract, Pulaw township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi division, in September.
One out of six victims was killed due to the junta council’s heavy weapon attack and the other five were murdered by the brutal junta troops after the battles with the revolutionary forces.
Moreover, the inhumane junta council troops also shot dead a villager from Pitat village and a villager from Shatpon village in Pulaw township.
After the junta council troops engaged in a battle with the local revolutionary forces, the nefarious junta council troops torched 27 houses in Letku village, Pyinhpyu village and Myadaung village.
“The junta council troops murdered 6 civilians in Letku village tract. They (the junta council troops) murdered the civilians with no apparent reason. They killed the civilians as they please. The villager from Shatpon village who was murdered was only in his eighteen. The reason for being murdered is he was wearing socks, boots and black shirts. The civilians should aware of the military news as the battles could be more intensified,” said Arnold, the information officer from Myeik District Battalion 1.
According to the report of FE5 Tanintharyi, two civilians were murdered by the fascist junta council subordinates and a civilian was murdered by an unidentified culprit in Pulaw township, in August.
