MANDALAY DIVISION – People’s Defence Allied Forces raided to arrest a member of junta council’s armed militia Pyu Saw Htee, but he was shot and died as he tried to run away, Freedom Fighter Guerrilla (FFGF) group said.

“We went to arrest him after hearing that he was playing billiards. There were also civilians playing nearby. We asked everyone to face down. He didn’t do it, but ran away instead. So the revolutionary comrades shot him from behind and chased him,” said the person in charge of mines and explosives.

“He beat to those supporting the NLD. He was treating badly to the civilians with the supports from terrorist soldiers. We have been monitoring him for a long time to ensure about him. I don’t know where he left the carbine. We only found the bullets and his phone in the bag,” said the official.
After the shooting, two military vehicles arrived in Myingyan town and deployed more troops at Nathtar Village, but it was not confirm whether Nga Tun’s body was carried by them.
The attack was carried out by the Freedom Fighter Guerrilla Force (FFGF) together with its allies Anyar Federal Task Force (AFTF) and Pyi Chit Thar guerrilla group.
