KACHIN STATE- A local military news source reported that the KIA and PDF are attacking the junta’s Infantry Batallion- 119 Strategic Hill and the police station where the terrorist army is stationed in Tama Khan village, Phakant Township, and the junta regime is also attacking from the air.
Starting at around 4:30 p.m. on February 26, the allied (revolutionary) forces attacked two areas; the junta camp and the police station and the fighting was intense.
“The battle has already started since 4:30 p.m. at Tama Khan. Revolutionary forces are attacking in 2 areas, Junta’s strategic hill and the police station. Around 5:00 p.m., two fighter jets bombed the area. Heavy weapons are opened about 5 times from the military strategic hill,” said a resident.
In the current battle at Tama Khan police station, there have been reports that the military council forces have suffered many casualties and some troops have reportedly fled, but the KIA side has not officially confirmed it.
