Around 4 o’clock in the morning of July 28, about 50 terrorist army soldiers raided Nyaungkan village and killed the president of the All Burma Federation of Student Union of Butalin township, the vice president, and the secretary; altogether, three were killed.
In addition, people were also killed, and the entire village of Nyaungkan was burned to ashes, the residents said.
“There are three “Ba Ka Tha” comrades. There are people who have been killed and arrested. It is still being confirmed. Because it was a guerrilla raid rather than a normal attack, neither the people nor the soldiers knew that the enemy was coming,” said a central executive of the “Ba Ka Tha” Federation. He said that the list of people who were killed is still being confirmed.
In addition, local residents said that the terrorist army raided Sai Pyin Lay village and set fire to the school and motorbikes.
“We don’t have much to say about the fascist army doing their usual fascist actions. The revolution will not stop just by killing the revolutionaries,” said the Central Executive of the “Ba Ka Tha”.
He said that up to 17 soldiers of the “Ba Ka Tha” League were killed after the military coup, but they will continue to fight until the end of the democratic revolution.
