MAGWAY DIVISION – LatePyar, in charge of news and information from Successful Force – Pauk said that the junta army torched the Chaungna old village, Pauk Township, Magway Division for no reason and at least 5 villages have been shot and burned by the junta army in the last few days of May.
It’s been reported that the junta army and Pyu Saw Htees from the Tatkon village torched Chaungna village in the southern part of Pauk Township on May 29, 7:30 a.m. Pyu Saw Htees and the junta army have joined forces and many people are fleeing.
“Some people have been arrested by the junta army in the Chaung old village. The defense forces are having difficulties to attack as they are outnumbered by the Pyu Saw Htees and junta dogs. They have not been able to approach the Chaungna old village until now. The village is being burned from the south,” said LatePyar, in charge of news and information from Successful Force – Pauk.
The junta army torched Kai Le village, Tae Taw Ya Taung Su village, and Pyit Tae village on May 28.
The military column fired large and small weapons towards Zetaw and the villages in the south on May 26. That column continuously patrolling other villages and about 80 soldiers are included in this column.
