RAKHINE STATE – Locals said that the military council carried out airstrikes on Minbya Township which was occupied by the Arakan Army- AA, with a jet fighter in the morning of April 30, causing damage.
The military council carried out airstrikes with a fighter jet at about 10:30 a.m. Residents were affected and buildings were damaged.
A man in Minbya said: “At 10:30 a.m., they bombed a fighter jet three times, and the exact injuries were not yet known, and for sure that people were killed.”
The Governor’s Office and the city police station in the old marketplace of Minbya, Township municipalities office and Uoattama Park were bombed by a jet fighter three times.
Another resident of Minbya said: “At the time of the bombing, the AA side fired a machine gun at the jet fighter, damaging the bombing site, and the casualties status is still unknown.”
