RAKHINE STATE – When the coup leader Min Aung Hlaing and his generals lost the war and could no longer fight, AA Chief of Staff General Tun Myat Naing warned them not to do guilty things by arresting and killing innocent civilians and youths.
General Tun Myat Naing, Commander-in-Chief of the Rakhine Army (AA), issued this warning on the morning of February 26th through his Twitter social networking page.
“I respect your military skills and hard work. But since you guys have lost, your only best option is to try to be a good loser,” AA Chief of Staff General Tun Myat Naing wrote.
In addition, due to the inability to fight each other between armed forces, they targeted and killed young innocent people who had no weapons, and warned them not to continue digging the hole of folly themselves, relying on weapons.
General Tun Myat Naing, Chief of Army Staff of the AA, continued to write, “You are targeting innocent young people by using dirty works such as arresting, killing because your troops are not able to fight between armed forces, so even if you don’t care about dignity, you have to consider the younger generation that is left behind you.”
If you do not value your dignity yourselves, you have to consider your younger generation, because you are targeting innocent young people.
All commercial roads and waterways between Rakhine State and other provinces have been blocked by the junta council army. Internet and phone lines have also been blocked, and arrests of some young people from within Rakhine State and some from outside Rakhine State are being carried out.
In addition, the military council has banned travel from one city to another within Rakhine State, arresting people who come from rural areas to sell goods, and releasing some of them but some of them were prosecuted.
Civilian people are being killed and wounded every day due to the junta council firing heavy weapons and airstrikes on non-combat areas and urban and rural areas where people live.
AA said that the Arakan Army has occupied the entire Palewa region, including Kyauk Taw, Myauk Oo, Minbya, Pauktaw, Myaybon, and Taungpyo cities, and will continue to attack and occupy the remaining towns.
