CHIN STATE – On Tuesday (September 05), Matupi Township’s People Administration Body (PAB) announced that Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) and International Non-governmental Organizations (INGOs) need to request related Township PAB permission whenever performing tasks in Matupi Township, Chin State.
Township PAB stated that since PAB, Chin Defence Force (CDF) Matupi, Education Board Team, Healthcare Team, Court Department, etc. of the township have been executing the Federal Democracy System, any organizations who would like to perform field campaigns in the region, need to request permission from Matupi Township PAB and CDF Matupi (Headquarter) as a mutual respect before campaigning.
“We found out some organizations, especially NGOs and INGOs, carried out the tasks without informing us. We had released the first announcement, but they didn’t follow. Sometimes, the junta forces have the information. That’s why we announced for security reasons,” an official of the Township PAB said.
Furthermore, the stated announcement was said to be released intending to have responsibility and accountability for the security of the people and the operation of revolutionary forces from the township level until the village level within the control territory.
