MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reported that the terrorist junta army carried out offensive attacks in the villages of Madaya Township, and committed arson raids in Chaung Taw Wa Village, burning down over 20 residential houses, according to Mr. Bo Tauk, the information officer of Madaya People’s Defence Organization.
On May 4, at around 5:00 a.m., the terrorist junta army carried out offensive and artillery attacks Nga Lone Pyun Village with around 100 forces, Ta Ngar Village with around 50 forces and Tha Hpan Kaing Village with around 70 forces.
The terrorist junta forces that raiding those village reportedly burned and destroyed more than 20 residential houses in Chaung Taw Wa Village, and also the junta’s artillery shell landed and exploded at Shar Say Chet Village, and it injured to the people.
“At around 5:00 a.m., on May 4, the junta dogs (military soldiers) carried out offensive and artillery attacks Nga Lone Pyun Village with around 100 forces, Ta Ngar Village with around 50 forces and Tha Hpan Kaing Village with around 70 forces, and the villages on the eastern part of Madaya Township. Those junta columns set on fire Chaung Taw Wa Village at around 9:00 a.m. The junta’s artillery shell landed and exploded at Shar Say Chet Village and the people were injured, but the detailed number was not yet known,” he said.
