MANDALAY DIVISION – According to local sources, the terrorist soldiers stationed in the village of Kywe Chan Kone deliberately attacked the nearby villages until midnight on November 29 with heavy weapons and one of the shells that hit Bogone Village killed a 2 year old child and injured two family members.
An official of the Madaya Township People’s Defence Organization (PDO) said that the junta group from the village of Kywe Chan Kone on the west side of the Irrawaddy River bank in Madaya Township started rampaging Bogone village and nearby villages with heavy weapons on the midnight of November 29.
“Last night (November 29), the dogs (junta forces) stationed in the village of Kywe Chan Kone fired into the village of Bogone with heavy weapons and a house was hit. When the shell fell, a two-year-old child died on the spot. In addition, three cows were killed, and two adults were also injured,” said a member of Madaya PDO.
The body of the child was buried the next morning, and the entire Bogone Villageis said to have fled to avoid the war, the residents said.
In the past few days, the junta council troops and the revolutionary forces fought in Madaya area, and the military group, which suffered many casualties in the ground battle, targeted the civilians by committing aerial bombings and hitting the villages with heavy weapons.
The terrorist junta forces are launching offensives, killing people, committing robbery and arson not only in the villages along the Irrawaddy River in the western part of Madaya Township, but also in the eastern part, where battles are recently taking place, so the residents of the villages along the route of the junta column, are fleeing to safety.
