MANDALAY DIVISION – An explosion occurred on September 16 at about 2 p.m. at the junta council owned Myawaddy Bank that injured a security police, a local news source reported.
The bank which explosion occurred was the fascist military owned Myawaddy Bank, located at the center of Mandalay City, on the 81st Street, between 26th and 27th Streets of Chan Aye Thar Zan Township.
“They are scrutinizing now. The ward administrators are also involved in the inspection. They are checking including the CCTVs nearby,” said a local news source.
The guard policeman who was injured in the explosion has been sent to the hospital, he said.
The junta group had set up a checkpoint at the place where the explosion occurred and scrutinised the passers-by, threatening them with weapons and extorting money from civilians on both September 14 and 15.
The explosion took place in the place where the military troops shouted, abused, abducted and extorted money from civilians, and the details of who detonated the bomb are not yet known.
