SHAN STATE – Locals reported that the skirmishes broke out between the allied Revolutionary Forces and the terrorist junta forces near Mongmit Town in Shan (North) State, and the residents have been forced to flee from their homes.
The fighting between the allied Revolutionary Forces and the terrorist junta forces in Lel Gyi and Ta Yet Taw villages, near Mongmit Town was fierce, starting at around 6:00 p.m., on June 4. The junta’s fighter jets were hovering around the town and the residents of the town were running away.
The fights occurred in Lel Gyi and Ta Yet Taw village. Now, both two sides started firing at around 6:00 p.m. The residents of Mongmit Town were leaving their homes. Lel Gyi and Ta Yet Taw villages are close to Mongmit Town. The junta’s bases are there and closer to Ta Yet Taw Village. The junta dogs (military soldiers) of 348, 276, 223 battalions station at Lel Gyi Village these days,” said a local.
At present, it was raining near Mongmit Town and the junta’s fighter jets were hovering around the town, and the people of some villages have not been able to evacuate.
