MON STATE – It was reported that four terrorist junta forces were killed and at least seven were injured in the attack on Moke Pa Lin checkpoint in Kyaikhto Township, according to the official of Kyaikhto Revolution Force (KRF).
The KRF reported on May 4 that KRF, Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and Night Hawks and Kyaikhto People’s Defence Organization designated Moke Pa Lin checkpoint as military target, and carried out a joint attack, at around 7:40 a.m., on May 1.
“Moke Pa Lin checkpoint is stationed as a temporary checkpoint and they usually inspect the travelers. The junta army, police and departmental staff station at the gate,” he said.
Four bombs were dropped by a drone over the checkpoint, killing four and injuring an officer and seven other ranks. In addition, according to subsequent reports, a policewoman was also seriously injured.
In the first week of April, three policemen were killed, five were injured and two police cars were damaged in an attack on the Moke Pa Lin checkpoint, KRF announced.
In addition, the KRF eliminated Mr. Win Aung, the deputy director of the Ma Yan Chuang (Shwe Phyu) prison, who was armed, on May 2.
