SAGAING DIVISION – According to Monya-Amyint Road Information Group, the terrorist junta army raided the Linpoe Village in Monywa Township, Sagaing Division, stole over 160 Lakh MMK worth of public goods from shops and left behind threatening letters.
At around 12:00 p.m. on July 2, the notorious junta troops raided Linpoe Village and seized more than 160 Lakh MMK worth of public goods from the shops.
The terrorist troops have stolen from the shops: 12 gasoline barrels worth approximately 60 Lakhs MMK, 100 Lakhs MMK worth of cooking oil containers, a television, a large battery, shoes, an air cooler, and various food items, including bread, cold drinks, beer, and even student backpacks.
Additionally, locals reported that the junta troops left threatening letters addressed to the public and dissension letters intended to create discord among revolutionary comrades and the people at a tea shop in the village. Moreover, locals from Nyaungpinthar, Linpoe, Linpinwa, Ma-au and Shwe Sone Villages fled their homes.
“On July 2 at approximately 11 am, five villages (Nyaungpinthar, Linpoe, Linpinwa, Ma-au, and Shwe Sone) had to flee and could return to their homes in the evening. No one was arrested,” a resident reported to the media.
The terrorist junta forces, consisting of approximately 60 troops, marched through the forest road from the Ma-au entrance gate of Monywa town toward the west and subsequently raided Linpoe village. The terrorists loaded stuff stolen from the public onto the two Faw trucks and returned to the Ma-au gate at 3:40 p.m., as the Monywa – Amyint Road Information Group reported.
