KACHIN STATE – KIA news source said that all the military camps at the Gite Htate in Mansi Township were attacked and occupied by the revolutionary forces led by the KIA.
The Junta Council’s military base in Gite Htate, Mansi township, Bhamo district, Kachin State was attacked on January 28th, at 11:00 a.m. by KIA. The revolutionary forces led by the KPDF attacked in an all-round blockade. A KIA source said that after fighting all day and night, the junta council’s base was totally captured on 29th January at 8:30 a.m..
“After a day and night blockade attack from yesterday morning, we have obtained the Gite Htate military camp. At 8:30 this morning, all the hills of the Gite Htate army camp were completely occupied by the joint forces of the KIA and KPDF,” said a KIA source.
KIA will continue to announce the situation of the junta army’s casualties and the confiscation of weapons and ammunition in the battle.
