MANDALAY DIVISION – Bo. Mike Khel from Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) reported that three junta soldiers were killed when they attacked the junta forces camping at a monastery and that they were also able to rescue two civilians abducted by the junta forces.
MBT attacked around 30 junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militants temporarily stationed at the monastery between Kantaw Village and Ywarshay Village in Myingyan Township on April 10, killing three junta terrorists and injuring one.
“We are not clear yet if there were any other arrests. There is a monastery between Kantaw Village and Ywarshay Village. They (junta forces) were staying there when we launched an attack on them with heavy weapons. They ran away, leaving behind the two civilians they abducted as hostage who we managed to rescue. We also found traces of blood on the wall of the monastery that they jumped over. We received news that three of them died while getting treated and one was heavily wounded in the leg yesterday (April 13). That’s why we released the news,” said Bo. Mike Khel.
The revolutionary forces also managed to rescue two civilians abducted from Taw Pu Village and confiscated five packets of ignition gun powder used for 60mm mortars. The attacked junta forces were made up of junta terrorist soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militant from Talote and Sinchaung Village and it is said that they had retreated to Talote.
