KAREN STATE – Thai media reports that Revolutionary Forces were seen patrolling Myawaddy Town after Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) led joint Revolutionary Forces combated and acquired the town.
Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), Karen National Union (KNU), and People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) combated the junta’s Infantry Battal (275), the last remaining base in Myawaddy Town, and seized Myawaddy Town. The Revolutionary Forces patrolled the town on the afternoon of April 11.
In the town, Karen National Army (KNA)/ Border Guard Force (BGF) and PDFs were patrolling around Myawaddy Town, where both male and female soldiers wearing different armbands were seen, according to The Reporter.
According to The Reporter, the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge No. 2 gate was ordered to be closed, and some people who were in the town came out little by little to Mae Sot.
