RAKHINE STATE- The Arakan Army (ULA/AA) stated that the third batch of officer training courses had graduated last Monday (July 3) and the ceremony was held for the first time in Rakhine State at a controlled area.
It was reported that the graduation ceremony of the Officer Training Course’s batches 1 and 2 were held at allied Kachin State, and this third graduating batch is holding the ceremony in Rakhine State for the first time.
The third batch of the training course started on November 1, 2022, and 326 officer candidates who completed the course reportedly had a recognition ceremony on June 19, 2023.
Moreover, Arakan Army’s Training Academy was reportedly opened on the 9th Arakan Army Day (April 10, 2018) in Kachin State and 138 participants joined the Academy’s first classes.
The Officer Training Academy intends to produce good soldiers and leaders with wisdom and prowess to lead Arakan Army in the future.
Due to the pandemic conditions and political instabilities, it was not able to meet the hopes and expectations of the organization. But the AA leaders are said to be consistently working on the field of producing officer candidates whenever possible.
The fourth batch of officer training is planned to be opened at the beginning of 2024, and the details would be announced to the Arakan people and the public later, as mentioned in the announcement.
The youths who want to serve the country and be in charge of the Arakan Army in the future are welcome to rebuild and reform the country by joining in the upcoming officer training courses through regional authorities, as announced by the Arakan Army.
