YANGON – In Yangon, San Chaung Strike (SC Strike) and Revolution Force (RF) jointly hanged a banner saying “No Pardon for you as long as the world lasts” on 23rd July.
July 23 marks exactly one year since the tragic event of unjustly hanging of four individuals, MP Phyo Zeya Thaw (Ko Maung Kyaw), Mr. Kyaw Min Yu (Ko Jimmy), Mr. Hla Myo Aung (Ko Myo), and Mr Aung Thura Zaw (Ko Katone), who were unlawfully imprisoned and hanged by the ruthless military for their beliefs.
The brutal army has been taking out the political abductees and unlawfully killing them outside of prison walls.
Moreover, the army has been actively committing all kinds of brutal acts towards people such as theft, murder, rape and burning down the villages.
People of Myanmar will not tolerate the terrorist army’s atrocities and there will be no pardon for the terrorist army till the end of the world.
The actions of the army are completely against human rights and are only terrorism. The strike aims to show the people’s willingness on putting an end to killing of political prisoners who are unjustly imprisoned for their beliefs and a call to release them as soon as possible.
