MANDALAY DIVISION – Myohla Village, Thigone Village, Ta-da U Village and Ngetpyawdaw Village residents said that the terrorist army shouted over a microphone, asking people to visit the Marawizaya Buddha statue erected by terrorist Min Aung Hlaing in Nay Pyi Taw for free, and announced that they would be paid 5,000 Kyats each.
From August 8 to August 16, the visitors to the Marawizaya statue, established by Min Aung Hlaing, are allowed free entry and there will even be free transportation arranged for those visiting Nay Pyi Taw. In addition, 5,000 Kyats per person will be given as an expense to each visitor. It is learned that the village administrator of Myohla Village was shouting that over a microphone, while surrounded by soldiers.
However, it is also said that the Myohla Village administrator added that those who want to visit Marawizaya must avoid wearing flowers, scarves and lipstick as well as red clothes.
The Marawizaya statue by terrorist Min Aung Hlaing was erected as per konawin yatra (astronomical arrangement), and warning signs are erected around the entrance to the statue, prohibiting items that can leave stains such as lipsticks, various nail polishes, all kinds of paints and spray paints.
