MAGWAY DIVISION – As there has been military tensions in Yenangyaung Township and battles can break out at any time, the official of Magway District Battalion 2 requested the public not to travel from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
A statement was announced to travel only from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the latest on Yargyipyin-Intaw road, Chaing-Laytaisin Road, Koneaing, Hpaungkwe, Lunpinsho roads, Moepawkan, Nyaungzaukchaung,Shwetokekan, Waryoe, Magyitaing roads starting from May 4. It was also mentioned to wind down the car’s window during traveling.
“The main thing is that the military situation is tense, and occurring clashes. Do travel from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. the latest. If you are traveling, please inform us and then go. The cars passing by during the allowed time should also wind down the windows while driving. If it is not comply with the statement, we will not be responsible for the consequences that will follow,” said an official from Magway District Battalion 2.
The terrorist council’s soldiers and policemen usually disguised themselves in civilian clothes, travel in civilians’ cars to reinforce the junta army. Thus the public is informed that this statement is confirmed until any further statement is issued.
