MAGWAY DIVISION – 30,000,000 Myanmar Kyats were provided to 14 displaced villages in Gangaw Township in need of humanitarian assistance with the proceeds from “Red Glow of Dawn Shining on Yaw Region” Funding Project organized by Global Yaw Funding, which is organized by Yaw residents abroad. They made the donations via Gangaw Township People’s Administration Body.
On February 6, Gangaw Township People’s Administration Body provided support to 14 villages including the people who were affected by junta arson, people fleeing war for a long time, limited IDPs, families of needy comrades and those fleeing from villages controlled by junta subordinate Pyu Saw Htee militia.
These villages are San Myo Village, Myaing Nansan (North Khin Yan) Village, Thin Taw Village, Kan Village, Moeso Village, Thar Si Village, Kyaw Tike Nae Village, Min Village, Myit Thar Dam Village, Kyundat Village, Htalhlaw Village, Hantharwaddy Village and Aye Yeik Thar Village. It is said that the donations were also shared with the people fleeing the war in Pale Township of Sagaing Division.
In addition, it was announced that through the Township People’s Administration Body, the “Red Glow of Dawn Shining on Yaw Region” Project has provided 10,000,000 Myanmar Kyats for public schools in the township and another 10,000,000 Myanmar Kyats to be used in the health sector.
