YANGON DIVISION -A resident told that when two policemen were loading the arrested motorcycle into the car, a bullet went off and hit one of the policemen in the stomach.
On the morning of May 28, the motorcycles parked in front of the hospital were arrested and a bullet went out when they were loading onto the car.
“While one of them was being carried from the front, a bullet was fired from the police’s gun that was loaded from behind and hit the one in front. He hit his stomach and even heard his intestines come out. We don’t know if he died or not,” he said.
Similarly, U Bahan Road, Thing Gyun Township, Yangon the military council troops who took security in front of the township administration office, battery bicycles, and motorcycles are reportedly being seized.
In front of that office, there are notices posted warning that motorized vehicles (except cars) are not allowed to pass, and people in the neighborhood say that if they don’t comply, they will be arrested.
“There are some who even ask for half the price. Some didn’t redeem back because they were afraid of them. There are some for sale. I can’t even imagine why people are passing what they don’t want to pass. There are notifications also.” A local said.
Junta’s Council troops were attacked by battery bicycles and motorcycles. The military council in Yangon Region has been checking and arresting those who ride
these bikes every day since the shootings occurred.
