BAGO DIVISION-In Ledo Township, Nyaunglaypin District, the junta arbitrarily abducted a woman from Thegone village and shelled villages, resulting in injuries to 4 civilians and damage to homes, according to the central committee of the KNU.
On June 22, troops from the 60th Infantry Regiment of the junta arbitrarily abducted Daw Moe Moe, a 53-year-old woman from Thegone village, and took her away.
On June 25, around 3:15 a.m., junta troops from the 264th Light Infantry Battalion fired a 120 mm artillery shell, which landed and exploded in Thamin Ingone village, injuring a villager named Saw Melay and damaging one house.
Later that day, around noon, the 264th junta Light Infantry Battalion fired another 120 mm artillery shell, which landed and exploded in Thamin Ingone village, injuring two villagers: U Chit Ko, aged 46, and U Myo Myint, aged 72, and damaging another house.
On June 29, around 5:25 PM, the junta 264th Light Infantry Battalion fired a 122 mm howitzer shell, which landed and exploded in Htow War Seik Village. Around 7:30 p.m. that evening, the same battalion fired three more 122 mm howitzer shells, which landed and exploded in Thamin Ingone village, injuring a 48-year-old villager named Daw Tin Htay and damaging homes, according to the KNU central committee.
