YANGON DIVISION- Residents told the media that an unexploded bomb was found near the Hlaing Township police station and the junta troops closed the road and detonated it.
Early on the morning of April 28, an unexploded bomb was found on the side of the Yangon-Insein highway, in front of Hlaing Township Police Station. After that, the Junta troops came and closed the road and detonated the unexploded bomb at around 8:07 a.m.
“The bomb went off at around 8:06 a.m. The blast was loud. Yangon-Insein road was reportedly closed to detonate the bomb they found
near the Hlaing Township police station Even the houses shook due to the explosion,” said a resident.
After the bomb was found, the soldiers and the police blocked the area and conducted searches. According to residents, some armed policemen are securing the station in a ready position.
