KACHIN STATE- The civilians are facing difficulties due to junta’s blocking the road in Shangaw village, Waingmaw Township.
The locals said that Shawngaw village where junta blocked and camped, located on the road of Myitkyina, Waingmaw to Chiphay, Sawlaw and Panwar towns. The terrorist junta were blocking the road since April 29 and the civilians who wish to return to their homes faced difficulties. They were trapped on the road and waiting for the road to be reopened.
The trapped civilians included unwell people who return from hospital to home, the students who have to attend school and children.
“I don’t know why they block the road. The civilians were facing difficulties. Children, patients and students couldn’t do anything. All people have to sleep on the road and wait for opening time. We manage to survive due to the help of people nearby,” said one local who was trapped on the road.
