MANDALAY DIVISION – It is reported that the people are fleeing from Chaung Gyi village on the Mandalay – Mogok road as the military council troops are carrying out an aerial attack without any fighting.
Local news sources said that four jet fighters came and fired twice, once at around 8:30 a.m. and again at around 9:00 a.m. on December 27th.Chaung Gyi village is located near the Junta Council Point Hill, which was attacked and captured by the PDFs on December 25th.
The on-ground scout team of Sint Gu said, “This morning, four jets came to the hill of the camp and towards the Nga Tant lake. One of them returned, and the other three attacked. My team is safe in Chaung Gyi. The people were hit. The dog was hit.”
Due to the military council’s shootings, the people of the entire village of Chaung Gyi have to flee.A local man said, “There has been fighting in the mountains to the east of the Chaung Gyi since before. They have been running since the plane flew in the morning. The damage is not yet known.”
On December 25, around 4:00 p.m., the military council point hill near the village of Nga Tant Lake was attacked and captured by the local revolutionary groups, and the weapons and ammunition were confiscated.
Locals said that during the incident, the military council troops suffered a lot, and then they attacked the camp and the surrounding area by air.
