AUSTRALIA – The National Unity Government (NUG) Minister of Foreign Affairs Zin Mar Aung met the officials and Members of Parliament of Australia and discussed Myanmar affairs, announced the NUG.
On June 6 at the Australian Parliament, Minister Zin Mar Aung met the Cultural Affairs and Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison of Southern Australia State, Representatives of the Parliament Tung NGO MLC and John Fulbrook and discussed the current affairs of Myanmar, the works done by the NUG and the planned procedures to restore democracy and human rights in Myanmar.
Minister Zin Mar Aung explained the overview of current political and human rights situation in Myanmar and the two sides had a discussion with a focus on helping the international community better understand the efforts of the NUG and provide effective support and the implementation of important strategies by the NUG intended to resolve the urgent needs of the people.
The Australian State Government Minster and MPs related that they stand together with the people of Myanmar and approve the Myanmar citizens’ desire for democracy.
