ARAKAN STATE – The terrorist junta force reportedly dropped two bombs with fighter jets against Min Tet Village, Tet Taung Town of Ann Township at about 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (May 4).
The aerial strike was carried out against the innocent people although there were no battles occurring. Due to the junta council’s attack, a 20-year-old woman got serious injuries and is now in critical condition.
“The junta council conducted an airstrike even though there was no clash. I am not sure if they want to kill the people. A 20-year-old woman is now struggling for her life. She was hit in four places on her body by the bomb shrapnels and is in emergency condition. At least three other people were also injured. The other detailed information is still being investigated,” said a close person to the victim.
Additionally, there was a bombardment by the junta council on May 2, destroying the village high school building.
The junta council has been committing artillery and aerial attacks in the places of Ann Township where people’s houses, hospitals and clinics are situated.
The Arakan Army (AA) is also conducting operations against the terrorist junta council and seized the Taw Hein Taung strategy hill which is a militarily critical camp of the junta council’s West Regional Command in Ann Township.
