MYANMAR – The junta council ordered its non-CDM lackeys from the large-scale industry 2 to pay back about 40 million kyats loan on behalf of CDM staffs. The money was the loan money taken by 106 employees in the financial year 2021-2022 but they have joined the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) after the military coup since they do not want to work under the coup council.
On June 4, the managing director of the junta controlled large-scale industry 2 signed and instructed that the two employees signed in the application form as guarantors must repay the loan as the 106 employees joined CDM and did not return the loan money, which is double their salaries.
The loan must be returned by June, and those non-CDM employees who guaranted for the CDM employees in the headquarters and factories must pay back on their behalf. All departments and factories have been notified to complete the payment, and the total loan to be repaid is 39,543,900 kyats.
