SAGAING DIVISION – An officer from Snipe Rangers Force (Local PDF) informed that Talalbah Village in Ayadaw Township, stationed by junta subordinate Pyu Saw Htee militia, was attacked with over 200 rounds of heavy artillery and eight Pyu Saw Htee militants were killed.
The revolutionary joint forces were said to have launched the attack at around 6 p.m. on April 6, as For July 16 operation.
It is said that the revolutionary forces fired over 200 rounds of 60mm mortars, 80mm mortars and rockets and the Pyu Saw Htee base caught on fire while at least eight Pyu Saw Htee militants were reportedly killed. The militants were also said to have fired back heavy artillery, resulting in exchange of fire that lasted for some minutes.
The attack was jointly carried out by Snipe Rangers Force (Local PDF), Daung Guerrilla Force, Twaemashaung People’s Defence Force (PDF), Anyarmyay PDF (Kyaukpadaung) and 21 revolutionary forces.
The official from Sniper Rangers Force also advised the civilians to not use the highway connecting Monywa, Chaung U, Myinmu and Sagaing unless it’s for emergency and to contact and inform the related organisations if they need to use it for emergency reasons.
