KACHIN STATE – It has been reported that the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) felicitated a missive to the 48th Kachin Martyrs’ Day.
It was stated in the missive that CRPH vows to increase the speed of mobilisation with the revolutionary forces to put an end to the military dictatorship and to strive unremittingly to build a new democratic country.
It has been 48 years since the commemoration day was held to remember and honour all of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. CRPH stated in the missive that they respect and honour the patriotism and the self-sacrifice of the Kachin ethnic people who gave their lives to oppose the tyranny and for the establishment of a federal democracy system.
CRPH also stated in the missive that they pride the Kachin ethnic people and the leaders of Kachin Independence Army for tirelessly participating in building the federal democracy by collaborating with the revolutionary forces and for participating to achieve peace, justice, self-determination and equality.
