NAY PYI TAW – It is reported that the Nay Pyi Taw People’s Defence Force (PDF) leader’s home campaign is being conducted to purchase a pair of 79-M4 grenade launchers, which are currently needed to be more effective in defeating the military dictatorship.
This campaign is the first time in more than two years since Nay Pyi Taw PDF was formed, and it is intended to purchase a pair of 79-M4 that is necessary, said Bo. Tay Za, leader of the PDF team.
“We are starting the raffle campaign now because it is really necessary. The first prize will be my own compound in Nay Pyi Taw,” said Bo. Tayza.
Each raffle ticket is set at 20,000 Kyats or 250 Thai baht and the tickets can be bought from June 14 to August 14 by contacting the Nay Pyi Taw PDF’s social network page. The campaign aims to sell 2,500 tickets.
“In the past period of more than two years, no one has been disappointed with the revolution, except for some comrades who were let down by some mismanagement on the part of the administration,” said Bo. Tay Za.
It is said that those arrested by the junta council in connection to the attacks on the Lewey Police Station and Dakkhina Thiri Township MICC-2 Hall Checkpoint belonged to neither Nay Pyi Taw PDF nor Nay Pyi Taw 805 PDF battalion.
During the more than two years of the force’s existence, two soldiers of the Nay Pyi Taw PDF have fallen and one is still missing in action, according to Bo. Tay Za.
