KACHIN STATE – Terrorist military council dropped a 500-pound bomb onto hospital of Shwegu township, killing a child and injuring several patients.
A local resident said that “the Junta Council troops attacked from the air on June 1st midnight. They dropped a 500-pound bomb although there was no fighting. One child, about 8 years old, died. There were also wounded people.”
The name of the dead child is Maung Htet Oo Wai Yan. These days, there is no fighting in Shwegu Tltownship. Some local residents said that the army was targeting the public.
Shwegu town is included in Bhamo District. The fighting between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and coalition forces and the junta council forces is fierce these days in Moe Mauk and Mansi townships in Bhamo District.
