SHAN STATE – The terrorist junta army fired artillery shells into Loi Paw Village in Pekon Township, bordering Shan and Karenni, without any fight, injuring three civilians, according to an official of PK Police of Pekon Township.
On May 31, at around 7:00 p.m., the junta’s Loi Len Lay based Artillery Battalion 520 fired artillery shells into Loi Paw Village in Pekon Township without a fight, injuring three civilians.
The six artillery shells fired by the terrorist junta hit a residential house and the father and son inside the house were injured, but they were able to get medical treatment in time, so they were saved from danger.
“The condition of three injured people is that the father and son who were hit by the shrapnel of artillery shells in their home have reached the hospital in time, and so there is no need to worry anymore. The junta dogs (military soldiers) do not want the people to live in peace. They know that the people’s participation in the revolution is a strength, so they want to oppress the people with fear. Also, the junta dogs can only hold a base in Pekon Town. The rest of the areas are already under control of the revolution’s comrades, so that’s why they target the civilians as they can’t beat the Revolutionary Forces,” he said.
