SAGAING DIVISION – The junta council troops were forcing passengers to pave the Monywa – Mandalay Road and the road has been blocked in Myinmu township.
On June 3 morning, Myinmu Township, near Pyawt village, on the Monywa-Mandalay road, the junta council forces forced drivers and passengers to get off the passing vehicles and pave the road, the travelers said.
“They asked us to carry stones to the places where there are potholes and valleys at Pyawt village Kwe to pave the road. Cars still can’t go and the lanes are closed,” said a passenger.
In the past, the junta council had forced travelers to carry mines on the Monywa-Mandalay road.
On June 2 in Chaung U Township, a junta vehicle hit a mine near Khin Mon village and the junta group opened fire, killing one citizen and burning seven houses.
