MANDALAY DIVISION – The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that the fights started between TNLA and the junta army in Mogoke Township.
On June 22, at 11:30 a.m., the junta army carried out offensive attacks from 5-mile post to the place of Palaung State Liberation Army (PSLA)/TNLA in Mogoke Township, and the skirmishes broke out between 7-mile post, Pein Pyit (Lower) and Pein Pyit (Upper) villages.
In addition, the terrorist junta carried out drone strikes on Pein Pyit (Upper) Village, destroying the religious building of the monastery in the village. Similarly, the junta column stationed in Pein Pyit (Lower) Village launched drone strikes on Pein Pyit (Upper) Village, at 3:30 p.m., on June 22.
The atrocious junta army deliberately carried out targeted attacks on the civilians, monks, and religious buildings. Although there were no civilians’ casualties during these attacks, it was said that the people were panicking due to the explosion of the bombs in the village.
