NORTHERN SHAN STATE – The TNLA reported that the junta council’s No. 606 Missile Battalion Umma Kha Village Army Camp and the 33rd army camp Nawngkio Township were captured along with the weapons and ammunition.
At 10:00 a.m. on June 27, the Ta-Ang Army TNLA attacked and captured the military council camp in Umma Kha Village of Nawnghkio Township. Then, at 11:14 a.m., the Y-12 aircraft and fighter jet of the junta council conducted attacks over the base of the junta battalion 114 that was under attack by TNLA while a bit earlier at 11:00 a.m., the junta council’s No. 606 Missile Battalion camp was attacked and captured, and a junta Y-12 plane came and bombed the place at 11:50 a.m.
It is also learned that the TNLA and MDY-PDF joint forces attacked and captured the junta council’s 33rd army camp in Kyauk Kyan Village, Nawngkio Township, on June 26 at 1:00 p.m. Later that day at 10:00 p.m., the terrorist army air force came and bombed the LIB 115 military base in Nawngkio occupied by the TNLA. On the same day, the army also bombed the TNLA-occupied Selang mountain and Aok Saung Taung in Mogok Township.
Similarly, on June 27 at 8:30 a.m., TNLA attacked the Infantry Battalion 248, under the 88th Division of the junta council, stationed at Aye Pagoda, Mokot Village,
At 5:40 a.m. on June 27, TNLA and MDY-PDF joint forces attacked the junta council’s LIB 501, 502 of Military Operations Command 1 in Kyaukme Township, and it was learned that there were clashes between the two sides at Sipin monastery and Naung Pyit.
On June 26, 17 members of the junta council surrendered in Kyaukme Township with two 60mm motors, six machine guns, two RPG-7s, one sniper, five pistols, five mines, 60 mm grenades and RPG grenades as well as military equipment and 59 types of various weapons and ammunition were seized.
