Three soldiers were killed and five others were injured in an attack on the hideout of the 427th Light Infantry Battalion, based in Ngwe Taung, Demawso Township, Kayah (Karenni) State, on December 5th at 7:30pm.
The fighting lasted for about 15 minutes and the Demawso PDF troops were able to retreat without incident.
