MYANMAR – It was announced on Tuesday (May 30) that the three Northern Alliance Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs), including the Arakan Army (AA), will be meeting the junta council’s national unity and peace making coordination committee in Mongla Township on June 1.
It was mentioned in the announcement that the junta-controlled national unity and peace making coordination committee will meet Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Arakan Army (AA) in Mongla Township.
It was also mentioned that the meeting will be held in Special Region 4 of Mongla Township, Eastern Shan State, facilitated by respective departments of China. China will also be sending a delegate to ensure a successful discussion.
China also promised to be responsible for their safety and security, and Mr. Kaw Paung, the special Diplomat for the foreign Affairs (Yunnan Province) from China has already arrived in Mongla.
Meanwhile, Myanmar people are critizing China for actively supporting the terrorist junta regime and inserting itself into the Myanmar crisis despite continuously calling it an internal affairs.
