BANGLADESH – Bangladeshi media reported that 330 members of the Myanmar Junta Council who fled to Bangladesh have been sent back to Myanmar by ship on February 15.
After the meeting between Bangladesh and Myanmar’s Junta Council, the Bangladeshi authorities have planned to hand over the Myanmar Junta Council troops to the Myanmar delegation.
The Bangladeshi border guard team led by General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui met with the Myanmar border guard police delegation. After that, the Junta Council troops who fled were transferred back. It is learned that the Myanmar Junta Council troops were taken to the Bangladesh Navy Jetty in Cox’s Bazar.
Due to the attacks by AA (Arakan Army), 330 members of the junta council fled to Bangladesh between February 4th to 7th.
