“On the morning of November 23rd, the Pyu Saw Htee, armed with weapons, came and arrested 2 civilians and one of them was shot to death at Tha Lal Bar village, Ayadaw township, Sagaing division.“ locals said.
One of the locals explained that “He tried to run away by diving into the Mu river, which was beside the police outpost, and swam towards Kyout Kone village on the other side of the river, but was caught on the shore. Then he was shot to death on the spot. One shot in the head and another one at the abdomen. The Pyu Saw Htee yelled at the people that if anyone tried to collect the dead body, they would be shot to death, so that nobody dared to collect the dead body. But now he has been buried and the villagers feel guilty”.
“At the east section of Tha Lal Bar village, about 20 members of the local Pyu Saw Htee, armed with weapons came and captured Ko Min Naing, who was running a grocery store, and another person due to their participation encouraging people to vote NLD.” said a local.
They also said that, “The Pyu Saw Htee leader had became the Administrator of Tha Lal Bar village due to the incident a few days later, and after killing Ko Min Naing, junta troops and stole alcohol, beer and other precious items from the grocery store”.
“During November, in townships in the Sagaing Division, the Pyu Saw Htee, under the command of the junta military, were giving inaccurate information and capturing people who were opposed to them personally”, according to locals.
