RM, the leader of the group BTS, will serve as the public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense’s remains discovery team.
According to the music industry on the 31st, the Ministry of National Defense’s remains excavation team will officially appoint RM as a public relations ambassador on the 1st of next month.

The Ministry of National Defense Remains Excavation and Investigation Team is an organization that excavates the remains of fallen Korean War veterans and sends them to their families.RM participates in public relations activities to inform the public of the remains excavation project in various ways.
In addition to the remains of ROK and UN forces, the remains excavation team plans to return them to their home countries for humanitarian reasons or temporarily enshrine them if they identify the remains of Chinese or North Korean soldiers.

BTS, which debuted in 2013, will celebrate their 10th anniversary next month.Based on their global popularity, they have been exerting a ‘good influence’ by voicing their voices on social issues such as racism and violence.
In 2021, BTS attended the UN conference as a presidential special envoy for future generations and culture and as a representative of youth around the world.
