UNITED STATES – US officials and ministers from the National Unity Government (NUG) discussed the implementation of the Burma Act, which will support the Myanmar Revolutionary Forces.
On June 20, they discussed this and the sanctioning of the junta council at the Global Fund for Burma’s workshop, which focused on the Myanmar Crisis, held in Washington DC, US.
NUG Union Ministers Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Mr. Htin Lin Aung, Vice-Minister Moe Zaw Oo, and Interim Central Bank Advisor Sean Turnell attended the workshop.
The US President’s White House Security Council, US Representatives, NUG Union Ministers, and Ethnic Organizations attending the meeting discussed the formation of the Burma Act, as stated by the NUG’s Ministry of Communication, Information, and Technology.
The attendees also shared their insights on the current situation in Myanmar, seeking support from the US and the international community, discussing the implementation of Federal Democracy, the processes of the international community and the United Nations, and legal issues.
