In front of the Cambodia Embassy, Consulate, and UN Special Envoy Office in the United States, Cambodia Democratic activists, together with Myanmar activists, joined and held a joint protest again Cambodian Prime Minister, Hun Sen, on December 19th.
They staged a protest as against Hun Sen to reject the junta regime’s request to get representatives in the upcoming ASEAN Summit meeting. He will join with Myanmar military leader, Min Aung Hlaing, in January. They also gave open letters together with statements.
Being faced with the cool of Winter in the US, the protest was held in front of the Cambodian Embassy in New York on December 17, and other protests were held in front of the Cambodia Embassy’s which were located in Washington D.C., and Lowell, near Boston, and Long Beach near Los Angeles, on December 18th.
Cambodia’s Prime Minister, Hun Sen is a person who tries to keep the junta military regime leader, Min Aung Hlaing, as a representative in ASEAN Summit meetings.
It is known that Cambodian activists, and Myanmar activists and other leaders will hold an online meeting on Sunday, December 19th to put pressure on the Cambodia Prime Minister, Hun Sen, who will come to the US-ASEAN Summit meeting, which will be held in February.
