During Myanmar’s Democratic Movement Ceremony held by the NUG in Daejeon, South Korea on December 14th, the chairman remarked that he strongly condemned the junta regime’s violence on civilian’s and democratic movements, such as the brutal crack downs on protestors. He and Koreans would always support peace in Myanmar and its path to regaining democracy as early as possible.
The parliamentary representative from Yuseong District, Daejeon, also wished for quick restoration of peace and democracy in Myanmar.
During the ceremony, donation money for Myanmar’s Democratic Movement was also transferred to U Yan Naing Tun, the NUGs representative in South Korea. U Yan Naing Tun gave a speech thanking South Korea for its support.
The Korea Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities – Daejeon, has contributed monthly donations to Myanmar’s people since the coup.
