The Chaung U People’s Defense Force proclaimed that they attacked junta troops on December 12th, while they were fixing a punctured tire, between Chaung U Township and Monywa Township, in Sagaing Region.
While junta members were sitting under the military trucks waiting for the tire to be repaired, the PDF attacked them with bombs, which resulted many casualties. The number of casualties has not been confirmed.
After the military trucks had left, torn pieces of junta uniform and scattered flesh were seen at the scene.
