
AYEYARWADDY DIVISION- Jewelry having worth of over 40 millions kyats were looted in Letpan Village, Pyarpone Township on June 16, according to the residents.
Four anonymous men stormed Daw Khin Win Myint’s house in Letpan and threatened with knives, tied their hands behind their backs and took the belongings reportedly.
“Ten bracelets, necklace, diamond earrings, some jewellery and three hand phones were robbed, over 40 millions in total,” said a resident.
It’s not yet known after two days even though the incident was informed at the Kyone-Ka-Tone police station in Pyarpone Township, according to a close acquaintance of the police station.
Although the people involving in the robbing in Ward(9), Phyurpon Township, Ayeyarwaddy Division were sentenced to be imprisoned for 4 years, 20 million Myanmar Kyats, the evidence of the robbery has been still missing.
