
SAGAING DIVISION- Recently, the junta troops raided the villages in Salingyi, YayOo, and Khin Oo townships of Sagaing Division and detained the civilians.
Since noon, the junta troops were raiding the villages near WanBao Chinese Mining Area. The troops fired heavy artilleries first then entered the villages and reportedly torched some houses.
“The house of U Chit Tin in Ywar Thit Village is on fire. Ko Kyan Kyaung from our village is shot to death and four others are in life-threatening conditions,” said a villager of Taw Kyaung.
The Junta troops stationing within the WanBoa Chinese Mining Factory were firing heavy artilleries at the surrounding villages. The backup troops of about 100 soldiers marched along the Monywa-Pathein Highway road to the Nyaung Pin Gyi – Tone -Taw Kyaung and Phaung Ka Larb villages and did military missions.
YAY OO TOWNSHIP- Around 1 am, the troops stationing at the Muu Riverbank were firing 60mm motors at the Mu Thar Village, one and half-year-old children and two adults were injured from the blasts.
KHIN OO TOWNSHIP- The junta troops raided the BaOo village of Khin Oo at around 3 am and the villagers were fleeting.
” The junta troops entered the village at the dawn in two trucks, arbitrarily firing at the surroundings. About 30 villagers are still stuck and cannot escape,” reported a villager.
The body of a Grade 10 student, Mg Lu Min was also found near Kan Thit village where the firefight occurred the previous day. He was reportedly shot by the junta troops, according to the Khin Oo Reliable News Sources.
Similar events occur in Chauk Township, Magway Division. The locals reportedly fleeting the town after the junta troops raided Suu Village, Chauk around 2 am.
